Walls

We all build those walls 
To keep the pain at bay
But that also keeps the love away 
And that’s what it’s all about 


Sometimes it just takes a while  
To let the others back in 
But I promise you, it’s worth it

So keep that door unlocked 
Even if you keep it closed 
It shows our vulnerabilities 
But it also helps us grow. 


We can all find our happiness 
If we choose not to give up
